REINCARNATION CASE I (Ali KARA)

We met Ali Kara, the subject of our first case, in the Meydan Village of
Samandag, Antakya. His house was in an orange grove, located at the foot
of a hill overlooking the Mediterranean. Although his father was sick when
we visited him, he was really very kind in welcoming us, and answering our
questions. He had already tried to examine various claims regarding the previous
life of his son, and he was assured of them at that time.
According to him, the previous life of Ali Kara (who was 19 years old in
December 1991) was in Syria. He died there under a tractor that he used to
drive and, in his own words, ''he opened his eyes in the hospital, next to his
mother, in Turkey (Meydan Village), immediately after his death.''
In our investigation, we did not come across remembrances
regarding spatium, the world beyond.
After he was re-born as the son of his present family, the first words he
uttered were regarding various claims that he was not their child.
Little Ali pointed in the direction to Syria, and insisted on his claims. His
father, Malik Kara, relates his memories regarding those days as follows:

"... Even before he began to speak, he was pointing out the direction
to Syria to his mother and trying to say that she was not his mother, that
his mother and father were living over there! As he got older, he gave more
detailed information. He said, 'I had a tractor in Syria. I remember Süleyman,
the son of my uncle, near me. The tractor fell down . . . and I was dead .
. .', and so on. If I remember correctly, it was something like Muine or quite
similar to it. He also had two sisters. One of them died of drugs, I think
due to the misuse of it. . . . His mother took his wristwatch after he died
under the tractor. They had taken him to the 'mistesfe' after the accident.
We learned the meaning of this word afterwards; it means 'hospital' in Arabic.
We had heard the pronunciation and meaning of this word for the first time
from Ali . At the hospital, they had wrapped his leg and then laid him
down on the bed. Then, he slept, but he found himself near my wife immediately
after he opened his eyes. He persisted in his recollections for several months.
Finally, I decided to go to Syria, to find the people he had mentioned. It
was not so difficult for me. All the places and persons Ali had related were
real. I found his father and the others. They confirmed the things that Ali had
told us. The 'wristwatch event' Ali had related happened just as he had told
us. His previous father confirmed this in the smallest details.''

One of the tasks easily performed by Ali in his present life is driving.
Though he works as an electrician, he is very interested in driving. He first
drove a car when he was 6 years old, as if he had been a driver for many years.
He easily moved the car without hitting anything. Read what our subject related
regarding this incredible event, which cannot be explained by anything other
than reincarnation:

''Without being taught previously, they put me on the tractor, and I began
to drive it. I was thinking of my previous life then. I had not forgotten
anything. I used the tractor according to my previous instincts. Some things
may pass into our present lives.''

Those born with a remembrance of a previous life are especially not afraid
of death. Ali Kara is like that too. Death, in his opinion, in his own words,
is as simple as ''. . . falling asleep and closing your eyes. And opening
your eyes in another place after some time,'' and it is as natural as dreaming.
When we asked about death and being afraid of death, he answered:

''Death is not something to be afraid of. It is something very good. When
I died in Syria, it was as if I was falling into sleep there, and I opened
my eyes here, in Turkey.''

Question: ''Do you remember anything with regard to the other world or anything
between your two lives?''
Answer: ''No, I don't remember anything like that.''
Q: ''If so, could we say that your re-birth occurred immediately after you
died?''
A: ''Maybe, . . . I don't know. What I only remember is I fell asleep there,
and opened my eyes here . . . that's all.''
Q: ''So, death is very natural? . . ."
A: ''Yes. But there was only one thing that was unbearable for me: You grow
up in a life, get older. Then you have to start the following one as a newborn.
. . . When I slept there, I was an adult. Whereas, when I opened my eyes into
this life, I was a baby. This situation was very difficult for me in the beginning,
but I got used to it in time.''

During our conversation with him, Ali Kara also showed us a picture taken
in Syria during his previous life. It was a picture of the tractor, which
he had died under. In that picture, the driver on the tractor was the body
in which Ali Kara was living in previously. His name was 'Cabir' then. The
people around him are Süleyman, his uncle's son, and another Süleyman, a friend
of his. According to his father's account, his uncle's son Süleyman is alive
in Syria at the moment (November 1991).
One of Ali Kara's aims is to go to Syria one day, and meet the relatives
he had spent his previous life with. He especially misses his uncle's son
Süleyman a lot. His father shares his son's desire and he says that he will
go to Syria with his son as soon as possible. Father Kara knows the places
where his son lived a previous life very well . But he says that he
will not show Ali those places when they arrive there, for he would expect
Ali to find his own way: ''I myself will follow Ali, and let him find those
places which he spoke about.''
Wishing them success in realizing their desire,we left
